Eating raw foods or fruits is the best way to give your body most of the nutrition it desperately needs. Many of us are at least slightly overweight, and even those that are morbidly obese are starving of essential proteins and amino acids. All the processed and cooked foods we eat give us only a small percentage of what we need. Consequently, we eat more than required, and yet we're still not nourished. Psychologists try to tell us that we're eating to make up for the emptiness in our souls. Wrong! Our bodies are empty and it's trying to tell us.

Eating raw foods is very good for us on so many levels. It's satisfying to eat them. It takes more time to chew and swallow, so we don't eat slowly and not as fast as we eat processed foods. And we're getting so much nutrition by consuming fruits, vegetables, nuts, and sprouts. Get your fruits here

It takes time to prepare raw foods, however, this is why a juicer is an essential addition to your kitchen once you are serious about raw foods. A perfect juicer can process an entire apple - seeds, stems, peel, pulp, and all - and turn all that into a healthy, nutritious juice.

Buying apple juice is NOT the same thing!!! Don't look at apple juices or ciders in the grocery store. Put as little as $2 to $3 aside and save up for a juicer. Buy bags of apples, carrots, bananas, and oranges, which make your own juices to get everything from the fruit that you also get by eating it raw. Now you're getting fresh juice that is as fresh as the fruit or vegetable you made it from.
No adding of preservatives, no processing that strips most of the energy from the fruit. Imagine all the delicious combinations you can make with the many tropical fruits that are available now in almost all grocery stores. You can always customize your fruits and add non-typical ingredients like pumpkin to orange juice.  That is a powerhouse of juice!
